The Perfect Blend

      Have you ever walked into a supplement or vitamin store and felt like you just stepped into a warehouse full of medicine bottles? Most people when they walk into a vitamin store  feel overwhelmed by all of the product that they have on the shelves. People in general have little knowledge about supplements and what they are designed for and when they ask for help, it seems like the sales associate confuses them even more.
      The Perfect Blend was an idea that was conceived by two personal trainers who wanted to create a comfortable atmosphere for people to not only shop for supplements, but to be able to ask questions about them, learn diet strategies and workout ideas and enjoy sporting events while having a healthy smoothie or yogurt. With the addition of another partner we were able to open our first location in March of 2010.
     The store carries supplements from all of the major companies as well as from independent suppliers that are not carried by our competitors.

How It All Started

    Having been in personal training since 1993, I have always wanted to better serve my customers and friends by providing them with affordable supplements and vitamins to help them achieve there goals. These products were primary bought in local retail stores until the internet came along and on-line buying began. I soon realized that i could save my clients money by providing them supplement counseling and buying their products on-line for them. I continued to do this for many years unitl December 2008, when I sat down with fellow trainers AJ Hickey and Mitchell Coyer and discussed with them about possibly buying and selling supplements and vitamins out of our gym in Bossier City, LA. In January 2009, with $272.00, AJ and myself purchased a box of "fat burners" and formed a company called Mt. Olympus Conditioning. We sold this product out of a closet at our gym and the response to this type of personal service was enormous. Together with Mitchell Coyer, we began teaching fitness classes at our gym to help us fund the purchasing of a variety of products. Our prices were much lower than what you could buy at the local retail outlets and our knowledge and expertise about these products helped sell them to our members. Before we knew it, we had two offices and a warehouse full of product.

   In March 2009, with the help of Greg Johnson, we decided to open our own retail store to better serve our customers. On March 1, 2009, The Perfect Blend was opened and offered not only a wide variety of supplements and vitamins, but healthy smoothies and yogurts. With the support of the community, our clients and friends and our families, we have grown from an idea, into a business that offers healthy living at affordable prices.
